Copying Field Content (<ctrl>C)

Copying Field Content (<ctrl>C)

With the key combination <ctrl>C, character string can be copied in between applications at will. The characters to be copied have to be marked with the mouse (highlighted) beforehand. Using the keyboard, marking can be done by moving the cursor while holding the shift key.

The field content copied with this function use the Windows Clipboard, so they can be inserted into any other application.

The copied field contents are then available via the "insert" function (<ctrl>V). A once copied text can then be inserted any number of times.

Dialog objects in the dialog editor can also be copied with <ctrl>-C. It is an independent function (see dialog editor: copy), which does not operate the Windows Clipboard.
