Cut (Edit Menu)

Depending on the type of active window, this function allows selected window elements to be cut.

Button:

in decision tables

Cutting rows (conditions and/or actions)
Cutting columns (rules)
Cutting an arbitrarily selected area (selecting the area is done by dragging the mouse over several cells while holding down the left mouse button) in parameter tables
Cutting whole rows of a parameter table

After the cutting, the selected calls are emptied (decision table) or removed (parameter table). The cut data is now available any number of times for the "Paste" function. The paste can be performed either in the same table, or also in a different table.

Rows or columns are selected, by dragging the mouse over the title cells (highlighted) while holding down the left mouse button.

This command is available through the menu of the development system as well as through the context menus of the DT editor and PT editor.

This function utilizes the Windows clipboard. You can also use the keyboard shortcuts <Ctrl>C / <Ctrl>X / <Ctrl>V.
