Paste (Edit Menu)

Data placed on the clipboard by the cut or copy functions can be inserted at the current position (cell).

Button: Paste.png

Pasting must be done in the same type of table as the cut or copy function. This means that rows of a parameter table can only be pasted into parameter tables. However, a row of a parameter group table can be pasted into the PT of a compound. Likewise, a condition can be pasted as an action.

Please note:

In decision tables, the contents are pasted in an overwrite mode. This means that new rows or columns may have to be created before the past operation. In parameter tables, new row(s) are created automatically.

This command is available through the menu of the development system as well as through the context menus of the DT editor and PT editor.

This function utilizes the Windows clipboard. You can also use the keyboard shortcuts <Ctrl>C / <Ctrl>X / <Ctrl>V.

This function can be found in the "Edit" menu.
