The group
The group
The group is the highest logical structure level of ePOS. The individual groups should be completely independent, so that they can be maintained separately, without having to take into account any cross-referencing. The two notable exceptions are the group POOL, for creating central logics, and the group TDV, which is maintained exclusively by ACBIS.
Note: The objects in the group TDV are not visible in the ePOS user interface by default. The functions are however available through the Input Assistant. The group can also be displayed directly through the program "Settings".
The following structural elements are associated directly with a group:

The following relationships are possible between groups:
Active: Reference to: | User- group 1 | Group POOL | Group TDV |
User- group 1 | DT-calls PG-allocation | (DT-calls)(*) | DT-calls PG-allocation |
User- group 2 | (DT-calls)(*) | (DT-calls)(*) | DT-calls PG-allocation |
Group POOL | DT-calls PG-allocation | DT-calls PG-allocation | DT-calls PG-allocation |
Group TDV | DT-calls PG-allocation | DT-calls PG-allocation | DT-calls PG-allocation |
(*) Recommendation: these decision table calls should generally be avoided in order to keep the rule-based controls as comprehensible as possible.
