The use of ePOS for End Users
The use of ePOS for End Users
The typical end user of ePOS generally does not use the development system. I.e. he does not edit any decision tables, but executes them.
This is possible in the following ways:
within an existing integrated application such as the ACBIS SalesManager. In many areas of the user interface of this sales information system, decision tables can be access in order to adapt the interface to individual preferences and to display the configuration of the products.
within another software product, e.g. in an ERP system. Many programs today allow for executing custom-written programs in the programming languages C, C++, or Visual Basic. With the help of the ePOS Call-Interface, ePOS can be integrated directly into such applications.
within a custom-programmed user program. The ePOS Call-Interface is used here as well.
with the program eposstart.exe. This allows all decision table logics to run without the development system.
