Use of the Parameter Table Editor.
Use of the Parameter Table Editor.
The general use of the parameter table editor is the same for all types of parameter table.
The heading line displays the table name and type (PT/PG/...) as well as whether or not the table has been changed. This is marked by the "*" symbol.
Note:
In order to use a parameter in the input assistant, the parameter table has to be saved beforehand.
The order of the parameter should be chosen in such a way so that regarding logic, parameters which belong together should be located together (with the exception of arguments whose Order is set by the DT request). In this way, new rows can be inserted anywhere at any time or existing parameter lines can be copied or moved to other places.
Hint:
You can optically combine parameters into blocks by using comment lines in the table. A comment line is created by leaving the name line (the 1. line) empty. This way you can put headings as well as hyphens in the name column.
Via the context menu parameter lines can be inserted, copied and deleted and the parameter table can be sorted.
Strings or individual field content can be copied into any application by highlighting it with the mouse:
Copying field content (<ctrl>C)
Cutting field content (<ctrl>X)
Inserting previously copied content (<ctrl>V)
