Adding New Rules, Conditions and Actions

You can insert new rules, conditions and actions in a decision table at any point. . The respective number is not limited by the system. .

Inserting new rules, conditions and actions is done in the following steps:

  • Mark a row or column in front of which you would like to insert something by left clicking on the corresponding heading, e.g., the field which contains for example "CO2", "AO5" or "RO1" - depending on what you want to insert. The corresponding row/column will then be highlighted in color.

  • Open the context menu by right clicking while the mouse is in the corresponding heading (gray area).

  • Click on "Insert row" or "Insert column".

If you want to insert a new condition or action at the end, simply mark any condition or action and select "insert last row" in the context menu.

If you want to insert several rows/columns at the same time, just mark as many rows/columns as you would like to insert and the select the context menu. The insert position is in front of the first marking.

Note: Marking several rows/columns is done by moving mouse over several rows/columns with pressed left mouse button.
