Copying groups

After selecting "File - Copy - Group...", a dialog window appears in which the names of the groups can be selected. If the user has already been working in a group, its name is suggested under "from".

When copying a group, all of the data associated with the logic is copied, i.e. all decision tables, dialogs, parameters, parameter tables, and parameter groups. The only potentially existing references that aren’t copied are in the group POOL (see also ePOS Structure).

Hint:

After completion of the development step, or before making large changes to the decision tables, it is advisable to create a backup copy of the current development state, i.e. copying the appropriate group. Then the previous state can easily be accessed for reference during further development.
