f$DialogEnd (f$DialogEnde)

f$DialogEnd (f$DialogEnde)

Using the function f$DialogEnd, you can close a dialog from out of a watching logic (Watch-DT). Operating this function is similar to pressing a button in the dialog.

Closing a dialog from the decision table is useful, for example, if there is an error within a Watch-DT or DT that was itself called by an action button and the dialog in which the Watch-DT was called needs to be closed.

The dialog from which the decision table was called contains the information telling the system to close the dialog and return the text entered. This information is only effective after all the rule-based controls for the Watch-DT have been worked through.
