Function Assistant (Register Function)

All ePOS functions - and all ePOS additional functions - are on offer here, sorted according to application groups. After choosing the function group (left continuous area) all inherent functions are displayed in the right hand area. If a function is selected (clicked on), the function syntax (argument) as well as a short description appear in the lower detail area - if the detail area has not been blended out. The complete help for this function can now be called directly using the Help key F1.

The function can now be dragged into a decision table using Drag & Drop. If a function contains a parameter list, place holders for the formal parameters are also copied. These place holders can be individually selected by double clicking on them and can be replaced by the current parameter using the parameter assistant.

If a function contains a return value, an equal sign is set before the function is called, for example "= f$Rounds( Number )"

Over the menu option Extras - Options the language of the ePOS functions can be set (separate to the operating language of the development system). This way, companies with English as their company language for example, can work with English function names even though the operating language remains German.
