The Input Assistant
The ePOS input assistant is a tool with which you can comfortably edit decision tables and dialogs. Displaying additional information makes the orientation in the ePOS environment easier. All ePOS system functions, the current user parameter, the decision tables and dialogs can be dragged into the decision table using Drag & Drop. Parameters can also be dragged into dialogs.
The input assistant can be found in the menu; "Window" or using the button 
The following assistants are available:
Functions | All system and additional functions |
Parameter | All parameters of the current compound |
Dialogs | The dialogs of the current compound |
Explorer | All decision tables, dialogs, parameter groups, parameter tables and images of all groups. |
Generally every assistant is comprised of 3 parts:
The left (continuous) area where areas or a group are chosen.
The right (continuous) area where individual functions in the group are displayed which is filled with elements chosen in the left area. The objects from this area can be dragged into a decision table or a dialog using Drag & Drop.
The bottom area where the individual functions or the parameter is described if it has been selected in the right hand area.
The input assistant window can be permanently displayed on the screen. Using the "Extras - Options - Display" it is even displayed automatically depending on system type. The display is updated automatically after the window is clicked on.
