Inserting Functions, Decision Tables and Parameters with Drag & Drop
The functions and parameters can be selected initially and then dragged into a decision table by holding the left mouse button (Drag & Drop). The following approaches for dropping are possible:
Inserting into the input row at the top of the DT window. If the mouse cursor is moved directly over the text, it will change into an input cursor which can then be positioned at the exact desired input position. If a character string was marked beforehand (highlighted in color; by double clicking or drawing over with held down left mouse button), the marked area is replaced.
Inserting a cell. If the element is dragged directly into a cell, the entire cell content is always replaced.
Inserting is only possible for certain tables. A parameter from the compound PT can only be inserted into a decision table of the same compound for example. If insertion is not possible, this is displayed by a mouse cursor in the shape of a stop sign. If the left mouse button is released in this state, the Drag & Drop action is canceled.
When dialogs are created, parameters can also be dragged into the field parameters or data sources of a dialog object.
