New Dialog

Generate a new dialog window.

After selecting the function, a dialog is shown which queries the user for the group, compound, and name of the dialog. The group and compound must exist beforehand. The dialog name can be up to 80 characters long. The appearance of the dialog is controlled through the template dialog. It is defined in the Dialog tab in the ePOS Settings.

The name may not contain any spaces, umlauts, or special characters. It must begin with a letter.

Dialogs are created and edited with the help of the dialog editor.

A dialog is saved immediately after it is created, meaning that if the new dialog is closed without saving, the "empty" dialog will still exist.

A dialog can also be created through the context menu in the ePOS Explorer.
