New DT
New DT
Create a new decision table.
After selecting the function, a dialog is shown which queries the user for the group, compound, and name of the DT. The DT name can be up to 80 characters long. The group and compound must be created beforehand.
The name may not contain any spaces, umlauts, or special characters. It must begin with a letter.
By default, a DT is created with 3 conditions, 8 actions, and 4 rules. This is only a suggestion, however. Unnecessary rows and columns can be inserted or deleted at any time using the context menu (right mouse button).
More information about the use of the decision table editor can be found in the section "The Decision Table Editor".
A decision table is saved immediately after it is created, meaning that if the new DT is closed without saving, the "empty" decision table will still exist.
A decision table can also be created through the context menu in the ePOS Explorer.
This function can be found in the menu "File - New".
