New PG

Create a new parameter group.

After selecting the function, a dialog is shown which queries the user for the associated group and the name of the parameter group. The PG name can be up to 80 characters long.

The name may not contain any spaces, umlauts, or special characters. It must begin with a letter.

Parameter groups are edited with the parameter group editor.

A parameter group is saved immediately after it is created, meaning that if the new PG is closed without saving, the "empty" parameter group will still exist.

A parameter group can also be created through the context menu in the ePOS Explorer.

This function can be found in the menu "File - New".
