Selecting the database table

After selecting the database connection and entering the login information, clicking the "Connect" button establishes the connection to the database. The combination box "Tables" is then filled with all tables and views in the database. Depending on the database system (ORACLE, Microsoft SQL-Server, etc.) this list contains tables in one or more schemas.

After selecting a table, the table fields are displayed below, with the field name and datatype.
